Weeks 1-3
On week one, we observed the 2023 FIRST Robotics Competition Game Manual for this year's game, Charged Up. At first glance, we noticed how difficult it would be to create a system due to the geometry involved with the game pieces. We got the blueprints to the charging station and got to work on it right away. The team also began designing an intake system.
For a productive second week, we finished work on the charging station. We also began the construction of the grid. Additionally, prototyping of the intake system started.
Throughout week three, we finished construction of the grids. For the intake system, we figured it would be best to make an intake that acts like a claw game. Pistons would be used to grab the game pieces.
